I'm not a expert but it isn't possible to verify anything beyond, the unknown is unknown. If we are inside a simulation we may be of interest to the simulating agency and find ourselves elsewhere? I don't understand why people are pushed to extremes over such a trivial matter as passing on? We all go through it should we live long enough.
