Having a bad afternoon? Is there more to this story? What did you have for lunch?

A christian lady of somewhere in her 120's nagged me at some fucking business lunch about why I "don't want to accept the Lord into my heart". This went on and on, and I was really very polite. I then asked her why she thinks God ordered the Israelites to kill all those people, babies and animals in the Bible, to which she OFFUCKINGCOURSE said that we (who the fuck is "we") must take "difficult passages" in the Bible as metaphorical, in their right context. I asked her what she thinks those passages I mentioned may be a metaphor for, to which she repeated her little rhyme. By that time my composure was raw and bleeding, and that's when I told her that in my respectful view christianity should fuck off and die, but that she should take that as a metaphor.

For some reason she then left, clucking and shaking her feeble old head.
