Beautiful buildings born of woo,
Though what they stand for smells of poo
With crappy dogma through and through,
I'd not change a one; would you?

The woo has build so many a sight
That towers above and gleams at night
Places of worship that offer delight
But really offer you nothing but shite.
Generally opening mouth simply to change the foot that I'll be putting in there

hehe
I like to share a verse with you
We work so well together
It makes me want to whoop your ass
With a whip all made of leather
Generally opening mouth simply to change the foot that I'll be putting in there

Being of the opinion that religion has more often served the needs of the powerful, I don't really see them as anything more than 'in the name of...'. I think the desire for swank and awe is a constant.

All that said I have enjoyed many of it's products. I remember going round an asian temple that was fabulous outside (Hindu) and batshit but adorable inside. It was without context the best building I ever saw in real life.
