Yes, but amazingly, once upon a time, I felt that as a very real fear (well, a nagging uncertainty anyway) - and that was as a 30-something year old with a science degree.

My Nephew has his (secular) 'naming ceremony' in just over a week.




Just saying 'coz it seemed relevant. I haz nothing else to add. :dono:

I think it's very relevant. There definitely seems to be some human need for ceremonies of this nature, but your example (and all the myriad of secular weddings and funerals) show that ceremony does not imply religious...

since Limbo was officially closed not too long ago, you'd think that christenings had now become defunct....? either way, i'd attend, but refuse to enter the church. maybe that's just me though.
