Maybe they are telling the truth, buts it's also fair to point out that others on the internet have also claimed inside knowledge at first or second hand, and in some cases this would include a quite different assessment of the whole affair.

As far as I am concerned I will (as I said earlier up the thread) wait for the facts to emerge - and NONE have emerged to date.

Despite this lack of facts, the media has created a storm, and the willing cohorts have stepped into line without hesitation.

And you don't get a kidney transplant unless you agree to have it. You should tell your doctor if you've had adverse reactions to antibiotics in the past. You can either be involved in your care or be a hunk of meat on the medical conveyor belt.

I never said that. The medical professional has input as well. It's just that I have the "last refusal", and the only "okay". He can recommend treatments, but I have to say I'll do them. Passively accepting treatment is surrendering this option, something I don't do.
