Well, it has less to do with whether the commies are "godless" than it has to do with the fact that they are commies, you see. I'd feel the same way about commies even if they were evangelical Christian or Muslim commies. That's politics, not religion, and that's where you cannot seem to dig yourself out of that narrow crack of radical atheism that blinds you to the bigger picture. But the "godlessness" of commies is important when it comes to judging the utility of their political ideology.
I see cultural expressions of religious faith as useful to society, as an evolved behavior pattern that helps societies to function better, in many cases, whether or not the beliefs are related to physical truths of the universe. I'm a pragmatist when it comes to social policy, and I see religion as a useful glue and mediator of behavior that is generally highly advantageous and useful to societal harmony and proper functioning. I believe that that is in fact why religion emerged in human beings and why it remains a strong meme in literally every culture and society on the planet, and has for many hundreds of thousands of years, since the first cave-man became a shaman and the tribe began worshiping some natural object as divine.
So, "godless" communists are an evolutionary dead-end in my view both because of their failed political logic and their rejection of an evolved behavior pattern that provides stability to a society. The strength of this conclusion is amply demonstrated by the effects of atheism and secularism on the Soviet Union and Communist China, and every other Marxist/atheist shit-hole country on earth, where a severe lack of moral character and direction results in murder and genocide on an epic scale, not to mention economic failure and privation.
In your attempts to malign me because you've run out of rational arguments and reason, you wrongly assume because I argue on the side of the 85 percent of the planet that has some religious beliefs that I too must have similar religious beliefs.
