Rasputin

Post by Lozzer » Fri Jun 18, 2010 2:18 pm

This mystic has to be one of my all time favourites. Despite the man was clearly a charlatan, the mystery surrounding his tricks and life fascinate me. Beyond all else, his death and the circumstances around it are amazing. It's probably bullshit, but I find the potential real explanations behind what happenned even more awesome. I mean, did you know he also had an excessivly long penis? Supposedly it was removed.

Were exaggerations about characters like Rasputin typical of Russia at the time? We're all aware of the hyperbole surrounding leaders like Stalin, but Rasputin's history is great.
