Humanity ain't mature enough to do anything without fucking it up. Getting religion out of the picture only narrows the amount of fuck-ups we're capable of. A good thing, yes, but maturity is far out of the equation.

We will fuck things up - with or without religion. But I would rate our chances of fucking things up less spectacularly and later in time without religion. But when that is gone we will find some other excuse to be twats and to hate each other.
