I don't mean the full hog of arse licking a statue of Christ. But some wordy fluff is advantageous to a hard day and the tragedy of life. Having a 'just-so' story also helps for a hard day and clever dick thinking by right-wingers. It makes sense to have some 'odd ideas' in a world where all the straight ones are fully owned by 'spock' types with the pointy ears or proto-nazis. My diagnosis is bi-polar not sz...don't know where that rumour got started? Isn't it great to not have mental illness as a excuse for religiosity also?

The brightest planet at the moment is Mars. I watched the Lunar eclipse the other night. For about two hours Mars, which was a little up and to the left of it, was significantly brighter than the moon. I took some photos of it, but my camera is just one of those point and shoot pocket thingies with bugger-all telescoping, 1/8 of a second maximum exposure and I just tried to hold it as steady as I could by resting it on the backrest of a chair, so they turned out quite shitty. Venus is considerably brighter than mars, as it is always. Not only because it is always closer, but because it's atmosphere is a thick light grey cloud that reflects sunlight strongly.
