Pull your head out of your ass. Freedom from religion is categorically implied by by "Freedom of religion".
I'd love to see your logical syllogism supporting that asinine notion. The only freedom "from" religion you have is the right not to be forced by government to practice a state religion or forced by another individual to practice his religion against your will. You have NO right not to be exposed to the free religious practices of others in public places, none at all. You are required by the Constitution to tolerate the free expression of religion by others everywhere other than in your own home. While the government cannot allow free expression of religion that is or reasonably appears to be sanctioned or performed by government agents, absolutely nothing in the First Amendment gives government any right to interfere with free religious expression in any public place unless that expression is disruptive to the governmental activity in progress. This would mean that the city council cannot prevent Catholics from silently praying the Rosary on their knees at a council meeting but it can prevent loud or disruptive praying that interrupts the meeting. The Supreme Court also recently sanctioned prayers given at government meetings, acknowledging that pre-meeting prayers were commonplace among the Founders, that Congress has been doing so since the beginning, and that it's okay for other elected officials to do so under limited circumstances. So screw you, Atheist zealot, we win, you lose.

Actually, it does both, being free to practice your religion entailing not having your neighbor's constantly thrown in your face.
No, actually it does no such thing. In fact it requires exactly the opposite, it requires you to tolerate all peaceable expressions of religion not taking place on your private property and those in the public square are always permitted and you just have to suck it up and take it. If it displeases your eye, then pluck out your eye or turn away because the rights of the religious to freely and publicly practice their religion far outweighs your distaste for those displays.
and the freedom from religion argument need not be made by atheists, just by religious minorities fed up by the more vocal and proselytizing types.
Maybe in fucked-up France, but not here in the US.

Suck it up buttercup, this is the United States, where we can flaunt our religion, our politics and our sexuality in your face and you just have to shut the hell up and take it. That's why we're the best nation on earth and yours is not.

That does not mean that you may not have to endure observing his practice of his religion in the public sphere. If you don't want to observe his practice of his religion, you may avert your eyes, stop your ears or leave the area, but you cannot use the force of law or government to interfere with his practice of his religion merely because it offends you.

If it's against the law, I will. Cut out the hearts of virgin boys with an obsidian knife for your religion? Go to jail, even if you do it on your own property.

Moreover, I enter places of public accommodation to do business, not to endure the politicalreligious affectations of the owner. He can burn his own crosses on his own time, not mine. That was the deal before he chose to open a business to the public, fuck him if he wants to welch on it now. :coffee:

My religion requires me to avoid all gods, goddesses, demons, angels, rites, dogmas, symbols, signs, portents, prayers and all other pubic displays of all those other, false religions. It's the most important commandment and is the cornerstone of my deeply held faith. Anyone practicing their religion within 500 feet of my home, work, or person is seriously jeopardizing my chance of eternal life in paradise. I'M OPPRESSED BY YOUR RELIGION! HELP!
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Dammit, I would like to have seen the pastafarians show up with colanders on their heads to test that prayer discount.
"His noodley appendage!"
"Ramen!"
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Here's the thing about that.

Sans any incentive to pray coming from the business owner, if customers believe it is faith dogma to say grace--pray before eating--then they may do that whether the other customers or the business owner approve or not.

However, if said customers believe it is faith dogma to pray before a meal, then they do so without expecting any kind of discount on the bill. I wonder how many will continue to do so at this restaurant now that the discount is void, has the occurrence of praying dropped off?
But here’s the thing about rights. They’re not actually supposed to be voted on. That’s why they’re called rights. ~Rachel Maddow August 2010

The proprietors chose another free-market solution. They chose not to crawfish on their business license, and so the story ends happily ever after.

From the beginning, it was just a way for the wait staff to work a 15% tip out of a bunch of skinflint Bible-bangers. :pardon:
