I think the concept is a good idea, give the kids something other than video games, TV and the local hangouts, but excluding a whole block of people based solely on personal prejudices ain't the way to make a kid a good adult.

I agree. My daughter just joined the Girl Scouts this year. Their pledge mentions God, but they don't ban Atheists. I've explained religion to my daughter.
