Did you watch the video? They claim that contraceptives make women's pheromones present as though said woman were pregnant, which supposedly makes those women less desirable to men.

But you raise an excellent point-- which is that the possibility of unwanted children is a big boner-killer. Never mind the actual children themselves being excellent cock-blockers.

Okay, after reading several studies I now know what they're on about, but of course they present it in a very misleading way. There are not pregnant/not pregnant pheromones, it's just that the few days around when a woman is ovulating she emits different pheromones and is also often attracted to more traditionally masculine males, as well as wearing tighter clothes/more makeup. In several studies it showed things like this and that the women were often unaware of it themselves. One study showed that strippers, when ovulating made a significant amount more in tips

So, if you consistently take birth control, you shouldn't be ovulating and won't whore it up or go for meatheads involuntarily

Oh, yeah, I've heard about those studies, too. I just think it's funny how religious types are so fond of cherrypicking the studies that serve their ends, then tweaking the content beyond even what the original studies suggested.

It's not like strippers don't make tips the rest of the month, right?
