Practical uses for the Bible

Post by Magicziggy » Tue Oct 25, 2011 5:35 am

My nephew, 16 at the time, went through the entire thing looking for passages about sex in an attempt to convince his creotard girlfriend at the time to put out! It was more a sport than anything. And he failed.

This is part two of that "Prayer, how to do nothing and still think you're helping" demote, isn't it?

You hear of the "Heart Bibles" in WWI. Supposedly if you carried a Bible over your heart it would protect the organ from gunshots. Just to be sure both covers hat steel plates inserted. That reminds me of the old pilot rule, "Put your faith in God and your trust in your parachute."
