They're in NATO. So finally we might be able to bomb the cunts (Russia)!
There was nothing stopping NATO from being involved in Ukraine, except for Putin's threat of nuclear retaliation.
But it is a pretty fundamental part of NATO membership that, if you are attacked, NATO responds...
So instead of the fruitcake they normally send Putin at Christmas, they'll just send a cheap Hallmark card?

Actually, they won't send a fruitcake, they did as a joke because he's already one, they'll send him something made from yellowcake...

There's a theory that Poutine is suffering from brain cancer.

If so, we're buggered.

Given how crazy he's been acting, I can understand the rumor, regardless of how well grounded it is.
But if it's true, I just wish it would kill him already.

Great believer in the cock-up theory of history than the conspiracy one that's popular with the half-way thinkers. What we have here is a classic case of troubles doubling on themselves until the point where something drastic is needed to reduce stress levels in the control room of the sinking ship, and with all the cyber warfare being waged a high altitude EMP nuclear war would help Russia where-ever it happened. Shutting down dissent at home whilst spreading chaos abroad. A classic Russian chess move of that chekovs rifle....bringing home a win/win.

Ukraine has bombed sites in Crimea. Some Russians are trying to leave.
The videos and pictures taken after the explosions at the airbase on the CRIMEAN PENINSULA TELL OF THE FEAR. In the videos, people are running away from a sandy beach or sitting in a car in traffic.

Reuters video shows damaged buildings and glass on the ground.

- We were resting. There was nothing. It was quiet and peaceful. Then suddenly a loud bang. The house shook. The windows were shattered. They covered my wife, Novofedorivka resident Viktor Lesnitshenko told the news agency.

- More explosions followed. Powerful and intense. Three. Then we gathered our things, what we had time for, and left.

Lesnitshenko said that he and his family got a ride to a nearby village.

A Ukrainian government source has told the Washington Post that Ukrainian special forces were behind the explosions. However, he did not say how the attack on Saky's base was carried out. Ukrainian presidential adviser Myhailo Podoljak later denied that Ukraine had anything to do with the explosions.

Russia has denied that the base was attacked, but that the explosions were caused by the explosion of aerial bombs that were in storage.

Yuri and Svetlana Iljuhin , who were evacuated from Novofedorivka to Saky, told Reuters they were hiding behind garages at the time of the explosions.

- When the explosions happened, we hid behind the garages. We didn't know where to go because we had immediately left the apartment, ran away, and only took water with us and that was it, Svetlana said.

No sense to war. When it's neighbours that's multiplied. Mistake for the West to get involved in a internecine vendetta. There is no sense.

Let’s be careful about the reported Ukrainian breakthrough in Kherson Oblast.
Fighting has indeed been hard and Ukrainian artillery worked all night long.
Let’s see what comes next before we start expecting something really HUGE.

Ukraine has hobbled Russia's Black Sea Fleet. Could it turn the tide of the war?

While Russian submarines do fire into Ukraine from time to time, the fleet hasn’t lived up to the expectations set at the start of the war and has settled into what amounts to a defensive crouch either in port or well offshore to avoid Ukrainian attack.

Lukoil chief falls out of hospital window.
The director of the Russian oil company Lukoil fell from a hospital window and died - the company previously demanded an end to the war in Ukraine

The chairman of the Russian oil company Ravil Maganov has died at the age of 67, reports news agency Reuters.

According to a Reuters source, Maganov fell from a hospital window in Moscow on Thursday. Some Russian news sites have also reported on Maganov's death.

At the beginning of March, Russia's second largest oil company, Lukoil, demanded an end to hostilities in Ukraine. In its press release, Lukoil emphasized peaceful and diplomatic solutions to resolve the situation.

Lukoil owns, among other things, the Teboil service chain operating in Finland.

Maganov worked at Lukoil in many different positions since 1993. He became the chairman in 2020.

Amazing! Of course, his opposition to Putana's war had nothing to do with his sudden, unexplained illness and death.
