The fetid blimp is threatening to drag his devoted dupes away from the upcoming elections if he doesn't get satisfaction. Statement released by said noxious gasbag:
If we don't solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have throughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in '22 or '24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.

I agree. Republicans should not vote in large numbers.

That'll own the libs! :hehe:

We thought the Republican goals were few, but always the same. Abortion, small gov't and all that. But now, the only mission they have is to overturn the 2020 election. The Trump supported primaried candidates will be running in Michigan, PA etc. for state lagislatures. With the only mission, once elected, to finally count the 2020 votes and declare Trump winner in....as many states as needed.

It's hard to believe they're willing to do this. But I guess it was inevitable given they only ever talk in extremes. When hasn't the US been moments away from ruin? Isn't that always the message of both parties: save the country? --assholes

trump iowa fat people and young woman.jpg
Gold watch trump will help them win the 2022 seats. Fat people and a kid or grandkid came to the rally. He speaks to them, instead of about them!
A recent Pew Research poll found that, while two-thirds of Republicans in the US want Trump to remain a "major political figure", fewer than half want him to seek the Republican presidential nomination a third time.

It's what the New York Time's Jonathan Martin has called the "gold watch" constituency - a portion of the party that wants to thank Trump for his service and then usher him into retirement with a shiny gift and a pat on the back.

That is a sentiment shared by Iowans like Josh Luedtke, a senior at the University of Iowa and a member of the school's College Republicans.

"I think there are better options out there for the Republican Party," he says. "Yes, Donald Trump did a lot of great things for our country. But he also did a lot of dividing of the people."
To be sure, there are reasons Trump may end up on the sidelines come 2024. While he managed to keep a vigorous campaign schedule last year, his age - currently 75 - could become a factor. Then there are the criminal investigations, into his businesses in New York and his post-election pressuring of Georgia election officials, that might present legal obstacles.

If Trump does enter the race, Vander Plaats says, he should be able to clear most of the field. But if someone like DeSantis or Pompeo stays in, things could get interesting.

"You're not going to beat Trump by attacking him from the left," he says. "The issue won't be that they're against Trump. The issue would have to be, we believe we can win, and we have to win."

I was going to read just the Woodward last book now and go on to other Trump books after the 2022 election when he will start to fade away.

But the bookstore had the Adam Schiff book Midnight in Washington. It's quite readable. Politicians tend to be wind bags.

Trump destroying his image:
During a private speech at a Republican retreat in Palm Beach on Thursday, the former president assured the crowd full of wealthy donors, lobbyists, and elected officials that getting doused in urine is not one of his sexual proclivities.

“I’m not into golden showers,” Trump said, according to a recording obtained by The Washington Post. “You know the great thing, our great first lady — ‘That one,’ she said, ‘I don’t believe that one.'”

The Post notes that Trump’s was “unprompted” in his apparent callback to the pee tape. There’s no proof this tape exists, but a campaign research document in 2016 claimed there’s a video showing Trump in a suite at the Moscow Ritz-Carlton watching two Russian prostitutes urinate on a bed once slept in by Barack Obama. (This would not technically constitute a golden shower, but Trump seemed eager to address the subject more broadly.)

Reading the Woodward book where Biden pulls out of Afghanistan. Presented with the same options Trump would never pull out. Mainly because it would make Trump look weaker. MAGA!
