Yeah, I can hardly wait until the US gets its glorious god-emperor back in the White House. Along with his wonderful, intelligent, honorable family.

'Trump Jr. Goes Ballistic Defending His Father Wanting to Secretly Bomb Mexico: "Is That Supposed to Be a Bad Thing???"'
Donald Trump, Jr. is passionately defending his father over reports the then-President wanted to secretly bomb Mexico, then deny it was the United States.

The target of the unprovoked, and thus illegal attack, would be drug labs in Mexico, and members of the drug cartels, according to a new book by Trump Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

The New York Times reports that during the summer of 2020, “Mr. Trump asked Mr. Esper at least twice if the military could ‘shoot missiles into Mexico to destroy the drug labs.'”

“They don’t have control of their own country,” Trump said, according to Esper, who pushed back against the request.

“Trump said that ‘we could just shoot some Patriot missiles and take out the labs, quietly,’ adding that ‘no one would know it was us.’ Mr. Trump said he would just say that the United States had not conducted the strike, Mr. Esper recounts, writing that he would have thought it was a joke had he not been staring Mr. Trump in the face.”

Donald Trump, Jr. angrily defended his dad on Friday.

“I’m still trying to figure out the recent media outrage about my father possibly wanting to target Mexican drug cartel manufacturing facilities in Mexico… Is that supposed to be a bad thing???” he tweeted.

Conservative George Conway, as did many others, correctly noted, “I know it’s a small point, but this says the former guy was commander-in-chief for over three years and didn’t know that the Patriot is a surface-to-air missile.”

Others also noted that a first strike into Mexico would be considered an act of war, and targeting a civilian population would be considered a war crime. It would also not be hard to determine where the missile came from.

Trump wanted to kill NATO. Trump Jr wants to keep "Finland buffer."
This isn't the first time Trump Jr. has offered his opinions on America's handling of the Ukraine/Russia conflict. In March, he suggested sending his father to Europe to meet with NATO leaders to discuss Russia's invasion of Ukraine instead of President Joe Biden.

In a tweet, Trump Jr. posted that "sending Biden to Europe for 'High Stakes' NATO talks will only embolden our enemies further."

He went on to claim that "if you want to get something done right send Trump."

Newsweek reached out to a representative for Donald Trump Jr. and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland for comment.

Thanks to Trump we can now talk about whiteness. I was in the bookstore and there were at least 10 books with that in the title.

Can they capture trumpism and lose Trump, keeping him on board to tour only red states?
What he's saying: Mitch McConnell says voters' repudiation of two Trump-backed candidates in Georgia is proof that talking about the 2020 election is a loser for voters at the ballot box.

Both former Sen. David Perdue and Rep. Jody Hice lost the gubernatorial and secretary of state primaries on Tuesday to two incumbents that Trump loathed: Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Both Perdue and Hice earned former President Donald Trump's endorsement based on their support for echoing Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen. McConnell said there’s a key takeaway from that result.

Here's his comment: “The resounding message from the Republican voters in Georgia is: Quit talking about 2020. And make the fall election about the future and about the Biden administration,” he said in a brief interview. He said Georgia voters have “listened to this discussion for a year and a half,” a reference to Perdue and former Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) losing Senate races amid Trump’s unsuccessful efforts to overturn the election.

Michael Sussmann Is Acquitted in Case Brought by Trump-Era Prosecutor
The Democratic-linked lawyer was accused of lying about his clients to the F.B.I. when he passed on a tip about possible connections between Donald J. Trump and Russia.

The case centered on odd internet data that cybersecurity researchers discovered in 2016 after it became public that Russia had hacked Democrats and Mr. Trump had encouraged the country to target Hillary Clinton’s emails.

The researchers said the data might reflect a covert communications channel using servers for the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin. The F.B.I. briefly looked at the suspicions and dismissed them.

On Sept. 19, 2016, Mr. Sussmann brought those suspicions to a senior F.B.I. official. Prosecutors accused him of falsely telling the official that he was not there on behalf of any client, concealing that he was working for both Mrs. Clinton’s campaign and a technology executive who had given him the tip.

Mr. Durham and prosecutors used court filings and trial testimony to describe how Mr. Sussmann, while working for a Democratic-linked law firm and logging his time to the Clinton campaign, had been trying to get reporters to write about the Alfa Bank suspicions.
