That's the problem when it comes to Trump.

Trump will demand loyalty from us, his subjects. Anyone not paying attention to the speech will be pulled aside and shot.

CNN

Former President Donald Trump can’t find an insurance company to underwrite his bond to cover the massive judgment against him in the New York attorney general’s civil fraud case, his lawyers told a New York appeals court.

Just a reminder: Trump can still appeal the judgment. But, if he doesn't get a bond, then he cannot stay execution on the judgment, meaning he cannot stop NY AG James from beginning to collect on her judgment while the appeal is pending.

And if he appeals and wins, I suppose the state has to pay him back.

Moving on...Trump and state election boards will have a struggle. MAGA in places like Arizona are rehearsing invasions of election counting centers.

They will also all legal means to challenge votes.

Poor Trump, he was sued in New York State. It's not one of the 25 or so states that have passed laws to cap the amounts of appeal bonds in the name of "tort reform." Of course, it makes it easier for corporations and and other well-heeled defendents to chisel down the judgement amount on appeal.
While Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 62 provides the general rule for supersedeas bonds in federal courts, many states have adopted and reformed their appeal bond statutes to help defendants more easily secure their right to an appeal.

The American Tort Reform Association (ATRA) backed this effort to help defendants have their cases reviewed.

California, for example, has capped the amount of an appeal bond to the lesser of 100% of the judgment or $150 million. New Jersey has capped the amount of an appeal bond at $25 million while New York still has no cap on appeal bonds.
I wonder how he will wriggle out of this. "Send lawyers, guns, and money...?"

After he's won the election, federal agents will arrest all the relevant lawyers and politicians in New York, and send them to the interment camps...

If he wins, I sure wouldn't want to be Jack Smith. :nervous:

Trump was merely repeating a belief that a bloodbath will come.
