Texas abortion law (no abortions past 6 weeks) becomes law at midnight
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politi ... w-n1278184

by refusing to take up any appeals, the supreme court is signaling that states can pass any law they feel like. The Biden gov't is not going to pass any law, but to have any power at the federal level, a law will have to be passed.

No more abortions in Texas. No driving to the next state for abortion, the Texans will sue you.

all states are free to follow the Texas lead now.

Well, when shrub started nominating ultra conservatives like roberts and alito, and with the packing rump managed to do, we all knew that the unraveling of Roe vs Wade would begin, like, sooon.

To be fair, it's much easier to be a conservative judge. The constitution was written for white men who hated kings and favored a small government. At that time, states had most of the power.

CNN
Chief Justice John Roberts dissented with three liberal justices in what could be regarded as the least considered but most consequential case in years.
Nominated in 2005 by former President George W. Bush, Roberts has warned over the years about the importance of public confidence in the court and has tried to keep the bench from moving too quickly against abortion.

Also, Svarty makes a whole heap of false assumptions. The graphic is not about her to start with. Also, what does he know about Greta Thunberg's sex life?

I'll grant you, less than I would, as I'd be glad to be included there.
