The Netherlands is now 82% totally vaccinated according to the RIVM.

Bijna 82 procent van volwassenen volledig gevaccineerd na herberekening RIVM

(Nearly 82% van adults are totally vaccinated after recalculation of the RIVM)

There has been a massive jump in the daily number of vaccinations since the announcement that a Corona pass will be required from the 25 of September to enter pubs and clubs.

GGD ziet aantal prikafspraken flink stijgen deze week, mogelijk gevolg van invoering coronapas

Many countries are hoping that reserving a range of freedoms (and jobs, in some cases) only for the fully vaccinated will push the reluctant to become vaccinated, leaving only a (hopefully tiny) group of hard-line anti-vaxxer morons without a jab.

Following coverage from Fox News on how COVID vaccines may help treat worms in horses, right-wing horses have been buying up as many vaccines as they can get, despite the widely accessible drug Ivermectin, which has been scientifically proven to help with worms. The problem has also found it’s way up to Canada, after famous Canadian podcast host Northern Dancer stated he had taken the vaccine for his worms.

“What big pharma wants you to think is that Ivermectin is the only way to cure worms,” explained noted celebrity and Trump supporter Seabiscuit. “But in reality, there’s a secret, much more publicized vaccine by a different big pharmaceutical company that actually does treat worms maybe. ”

Covid vs Spanish flu:

There were some attempts to control the 1918 pandemic, and a few cities did very well. yet, both seem to last 3 years. Flu likely mutated to the less lethal version in the end, because it mutates faster than covid.
As states loosen nonpharmaceutical interventions, the U.S. will likely experience a long plateau of continued new infections at a steady rate, punctuated by periodic local flares. These outbreaks will not be driven by SARS-CoV-2 mutation or virulence, but by the further exposure of nonimmune people to the virus. Future spikes in COVID-19 cases and deaths will very likely be driven by what people do.

Amazing. Just simply amazing. Ozland is considered a first world country?

5km and 10km from home radius map: check how far you can travel and where your Sydney or Melbourne bubbles overlap
Want to know what’s within the 5km or 10km travel limit around you? Use our interactive map and calculator to see where you can and can’t go under NSW and Victoria lockdown restrictions.

Want to know what’s within the 5km or 10km travel limit around you? Use our interactive radius map and calculator to see how far from home you can and can’t go under NSW and Victoria lockdown restrictions.

This tool also allows for adding a second circle, to see the travel bubble overlap where you and another person are able to exercise together under the applicable restrictions.

In NSW if you’re not vaccinated you can exercise with one other person, or if you’re vaccinated you might be eligible to engage in ‘outdoor recreation’ with other people under the “picnic rules” in NSW from 13 September onwards. The 5km rule only applies in certain situations depending on if you’re in an ‘LGA of concern’ or not, and if you’re otherwise traveling outside your home LGA, so it’s best to check which rules apply to you here.

There are similar restrictions in Victoria, which currently allow you to exercise with one other person provided you both do not travel further than 5km from home.
Pathetic. Get vaccinated!!!

As I've repeatedly said, we are playing catch-up after a poor start to obtaining vaccines by the Federal Government - vaccine doses are now arriving rapidly. The State Governments are doing most of the heavy lifting, vaccination rates are shooting up, but, in the mean time, restrictions are needed to stop the case numbers shooting through the roof.

Quite so. With just under 35% of Australia's population currently fully vaccinated we are nowhere near herd immunity. We have to implement other measures to minimise the infection rate until we get there.
