Tasmanian Catholic Archbishop Julian Porteous is pushing for priests who have a "conscientious objection" to COVID-19 vaccines to still be allowed to work in aged care homes after a vaccine mandate comes into effect at the end of next week.
Fuck off, Archbishop...

If Jesus wants to draw the old biddies to his side then it's an unvaccinated priest's duty to splutter over them during communion. :tea:

We have had some 150 million cases:
On April 14, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control estimated that, as of March 2021, there had been 98.5–134.3 million infections in the United States.[45]
With tens of millions vaccinated that never had it, we should have about 200 million with some immunity.

Why don't we have herd immunity?

The new Delta strain is highly infectious to young, unvaccinated people, and can also manage to infect the vaccinated (but with fewer dangerous effects). So, it is still spreading in your population...

Grown-ass people behaving like toddlers. I never saw this sort of behavior before social media. I probably should just get rid of the internet. Clearly this is not good for my mental health.

From the ABC website, part of a briefing by our Health Minister:
Just in case you missed it earlier, data in Victoria has shown that vaccines are working to keep those who contract COVID-19 out of hospital.

The data presented earlier today by Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley shows that of the 111 COVID-19 patients in Victorian hospitals, 89 per cent are unvaccinated, and 11 per cent have received one dose of the vaccine.

None of the 111 hospitalised people are fully vaccinated.
Fairly telling stats...

I think that Karen was in one of our stores. I don't go to that, but I might run into her at the Target store next door.
