Yes, you're correct. Total death toll is somewhere north of 12 million. I am unaware of any Jewish organizations that deny this, and don't expect the assertion above to that effect to be supported by a source.

On the other hand, the Shoah is by no means the only time in history in which concentration camps are found. I think that the attempt to shame Ocasio-Cortez for using the term, including asserting that it 'refers uniquely to one of humanity’s greatest atrocities,' is either partisan or ignorant.

I hoped Iran made the right move. I'm certainly willing to accept they mean to do us serious harm if we attack them.

Is AOC denying the Holocaust?

The right are trying to act all offended because AOC called the US concentration camps concentration camps. As if it is some sort of gross insult to the Jews killed in German concentration camps.

Liz Cheney could do herself and us all a favour by looking up the definition of "concentration camp": "A camp where persons are confined, usually without hearings and typically under harsh conditions, often as a result of their membership in a group the government has identified as dangerous or undesirable."

Then she could take heed of her own advice by looking up the history of concentration camps. She will discover that concentration camps were in use well over a century before the Nazis turned it into a grotesque art form, and that the term "concentration camp" gained currency during the Second Boer War, when the British forces used them extensively.

Although the first example of civilian internment may date as far back as the 1830s, the English term concentration camp was first used in order to refer to the reconcentrados (reconcentration camps) set up by the Spanish military in Cuba during the Ten Years' War (1868–78). The term saw wider use around the Second Boer War (1899–1902), when the British operated such camps in South Africa for interning Boers.
