Let me ask you this, do you just let your whole body go unwashed daily? I mean, do you wash your face every day? Ass crack? Pits?

Yep, the whole thing. It's impossible during summer here, but the rest of the year, sure, why not?

Well, generally people wash their faces. I thought that was a common thing. People wash their hands after each use of the toilet, so that's several times a day, and I thought everyone washed their face when they woke up in the morning. Hmmmm... and the ass crack - you just take a dump, wipe with paper, and then go days before you wash it?

The why not is that daily life involves a lot of general stuff getting on us. Our hands are dirty just by touching all the stuff we touch. Asses are used for shitting ,and there is no way that dry toilet paper is leaving the ass clean. And, pits tend to sweat throughout the day. People always perspire, and it's not just from vigorous activity. It's constant. It's just more noticeable when one raises one's body temperature through exercise. Skin cells constantly die and flake off, and the air contains particulate which sticks on us. Climbing into bed every day with a day's worth of stuff means that gets into your bed.

It doesn't bother me to skip a shower.

I don't understand people who shower in the morning but not the night. If you were religious about having one shower a day, it should be at night so as to get all the grime off you before getting into bed.

I would like to see some data on this "too much water on your skin makes it dry" (not just theory, but a test where X number of people shower for 10 minutes a day, and X number don't, and see if there is any detectable difference in their skin). Were I a bettin' man, I know exactly where my money would be.

I'm sure you could find data sponsored by Jergens, Dove or Johnson & Johnson.

To me, skin lotions are self-indulgent bullshit almost ALL the time. Look at the variety of products available, their claims and most importantly - their market.

Why do you think SO MUCH bullshit of this type is marketed so heavily at women? (I have a theory, but with so many opposed to identifying differences between the sexes, I'll hold my tongue for now)

I tried moisturizing one elbow, because it was dry and cracking. It did work temporarily, but increasing my water intake (mostly in the form of coffee) fixed it permanently.

Have a sauna and a dry scrub once a week. You will never smell and be as clean as possible. I never use chemicals on my skin. When I shower I just use water to rinse.
