Teacher who had sex with teen faces 10 years in jail
A Florida teacher who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old student in her car and in a barn now faces 10 years in prison.
Brunette Stephanie Peterson, 27, pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors to lewd or lascivious battery sex act with a child and transmission of harmful material to minors by electronic means.
Peterson — who toiled at New Smyrna Beach Middle School — was arrested last February after picking up the Grade 8 student and have sex with him in her car.

I had a teacher who looked like a fish. Miss McCorkendale, or Corky, as we called her. She was about 112 years old.

Even though I suspect that it is less damaging than a male teacher/female student thing (which I know is not PC), it is important that the law is applied impartially, and that adults, particularly in positions of authority, are held to account for their actions with children.

It is a very strangely written article isn’t it? Just went to the newspaper site. The term ‘The jig was up’ is used besides other oddities in tone. Her photo also looks phoney. I suspect the writer was stoned.
