:funny:
A 9/11 memorial parade float during a small town parade in Indiana sparked outrage for its representation of the twin towers billowing smoke.

The float, part of the 40th Popcorn Festival on Sept. 11 in Porter County, featured the twin towers with smoke billowing up from them, with a black hole in each appearing to represent where the airplanes struck the World Trade Center buildings during the attacks 20 years ago.

Video taken from the parade showed people sounding off in disbelief while watching the float make its way down the street.

The float was sponsored by the Valparaiso Republicans.

“We worked so hard to show our love, respect, our sorrow and respect to all the 9/11 victims, the soldiers who died in Afghanistan and our first responders,” the Valparaiso Republicans said in a Facebook post.

The group received mixed reviews about the display on their Facebook page and chose to limit comments. Most of the remaining comments left on the page defended the float.

The 9/11 terrorist attacks took 2,977 lives, including those who died in the attack on the Pentagon and those on the plane that went down in Pennsylvania.

Porter County GOP Chairman, Michael Simpson, issued a statement apologizing for any disrespect the float may have shown.

“We wished no disrespect and regret that our tribute to the lives lost and those who continue to serve was to some perceived in bad taste,” the statement said in part.

A single California voter was turned away, therefore entire recall election is now "rigged."

I wonder what the research shows about the immunity conferred via infection versus the immunity conferred by vaccination. Figures show that over 32 million Americans have recovered from Covid (a little under 10% of the population). It may be the case that getting a jab in that circumstance boosts and lengthens one's immune response...

I don't have a number for that, but those that had covid, mild or severe, benefit from one dose of vaccine:

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is good enough in one dose.
Next week we will be up to 85% totally vaccinated according to our great friends in the RIVM.

I dont trust anything just reporting. The threat of a Corona pass has stimulated thousands to get the jab.
You wont need the pass for the terraces but you will need it if you want a pee which of course is ridiculous.

According to the RIVM the F1 meeting at Zandfort hardly increased infections.

That is at least part of the reason for mandating Corona passes or the equivalent...
