Yeah, you go in on foot to finish off the stragglers at an Afghan wedding that was straffed from the air and when you get home nobody wants to know you.

I always used to wonder why so many wedding parties were mistakenly bombed, but when you realise that they celebrate by firing automatic weapons into the air, it's easy to see how it happens.

Carlson’s text, published in full by the Times, was sent the day after the Jan.6 U.S. Capitol attack and was a reaction to a video clip of an assault that occurred weeks earlier. In the text, Carlson reacts to three Trump supporters beating one lone protestor. It is unclear what race the protestor was. “Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously. It’s not how white men fight,” Carlson writes. “Yet suddenly I found myself rooting for the mob against the man, hoping they’d hit him harder, kill him. I really wanted them to hurt the kid. I could taste it,” the text published by the Times said.

Later in the text, Carlson admonishes himself for his bloodlust. “I’m becoming something I don’t want to be,” he writes. “The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does, much as I’m sure I’d hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it.”

He concluded, “I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid, and would be crushed if he was killed. If I don’t care about those things, if I reduce people to their politics, how am I better than he is?”

The Times reports that the Fox board saw the text the day before the Dominion trial was set to begin, and they were worried that it would become public during legal proceedings, particularly if Carlson was called to the stand.

Florida ends waggling penises in wrong toilet:
Under the bill, known as the “Safety in Private Spaces Act,” individuals who use public restrooms or changing facilities that do not correspond with their sex assigned at birth could be charged with a second-degree misdemeanor.

Women trapped in trumpian rural America.

Girls having crushes, sneaking out at night to have fun: It seems innocent enough. But in my small, conservative town, a “wrong” choice at a young age could cut girls off from their future dreams, leaving them mired in despair.

Growing up in the ’90s in Clinton, Arkansas, all that my best friend, Darci Brawner, and I dreamed about was getting out. “I want to see new people and new places,” I wrote in my journal when I was 12. I wanted to move to California but would take “any state besides Oklahoma or Mississippi.” We wanted careers; we wanted to be rich and famous; we wanted to be far away.
Boys and sex would only stop us, catch us, or so my mother had warned.
Not likely the write at that point would even bother to vote, or vote with the rest party line and not really look for a way out.

These people are all evangelicals. The Methodists and Unitarians are in cities.

The witch hunt of Republican politicians is simply intolerable. Weaponized government!!!

'George Santos in federal custody as feds unseal 13-count indictment'
The Justice Department on Wednesday unsealed 13 federal charges against Rep. George Santos and the New York Republican is in custody, a spokesperson for the Eastern District of New York said.

Santos has been charged on seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives.

Prosecutors allege Santos solicited campaign funds under false pretense and used them for personal expenses like designer clothing.

The indictment accuses Santos of undertaking a “fraudulent political contribution solicitation scheme,” alleging that he set up a company and got supporters to contribute funds to it under the false pretense that the money would benefit his political campaign.

Prosecutors claims that thousands of dollars instead went his Santos’ personal expenses, including luxury designer clothing and credit card payments.

He was taken into custody in Melville, Long Island, where the FBI is housed, a law enforcement source told CNN. From there, he was taken to the courthouse in Central Islip.

Looks like he has a brilliant future as a republican! If he can get a few sexual attack allegations as well, there's no limit to where he can go in the republican party.

The right wing outrage over the Bud Light 'beer' marketing fling featuring a trans person has got some champions in the US Senate now. Everybody's favorite festering hemorrhoid, Senator Ted Cruz, has been joined by lady hair farmer Senator Marsha Blackburn in calling for an investigation of the insidious atrocity being committed upon the youth of America. Since young people are a significant percentage of that trans person's followers online, Bud Light is clearly marketing alcohol to them. ;ob;

'Ted Cruz wants to investigate Bud Light for working with Dylan Mulvaney: "Melting down over a trans woman"'
A pair of Senate Republicans want the federal government to investigate a beer commercial with a transgender woman.

Ted Cruz of Texas and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee are calling for congressional oversight and an investigation into Bud Light’s marketing strategy with trans social media personality Dylan Mulvaney, escalating a weeks-long, transphobic right-wing obsession with an Instagram video featuring the actress and cans of beer.

In their letter from the Senate’s commerce committee that repeatedly misgenders Ms Mulvaney, the senators urged Anheuser Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth to “sever its relationship” with Ms Mulvaney, “publicly apologize”, and force her to delete “any Anheuser-Busch content” on her social media platforms, or submit to an investigation from a trade association.

The senators added that the beer company’s “clear failure to exercise appropriate due diligence when selecting online influencers” – which in this case merely included Ms Mulvaney receiving a can with her face on it while promoting a basketball tournament – “warrants detailed oversight by Congress.”

The letter demands that Anheuser Busch send “all documents and communications” between the company and Ms Mulvaney, among a host of other documents, “so that Congress can exercise its oversight authority.”

The senators alleged that the company relied on Ms Mulvaney to specifically target people who are too young to drink, by arguing that Ms Mulvaney – who is 26 years old – calls herself a girl and uses social media platforms with young people on them.

Our Nebraska senate passed an anti-trans bill and blocked abortion at 12 weeks. What next? Arm the "innocent children" with guns so they can shoot their parents and then themselves? That way they don't need to take part in this trans perversio.

Ehy didn't they just pass a toilet bill? That would prove their anti trans position.
