How are they going to do that?

Take all the paperwork, look at it all word by word. Then they will conclude that it was a peaceful protest. If it got out of hand, it was was Nancy Pelosi's fault for not getting Capitol enough security.

Steve Bannon spearheading/promoting stealing every election at the local level from now on:
Now Bannon has put himself at the center of an ambitious, grassroots push to replace that bulwark with a new national election apparatus — one whose personnel, from top to bottom, buy the lie that Trump won the 2020 election.

Put another way, Bannon and the ascendant MAGA wing of the GOP are trying to control who polices elections. That plan already produced a stunning result this spring in the primaries, when a pair of election deniers were named as GOP nominees for secretary of state and attorney general in Michigan, a key swing state.

It will work presidents, governors etc. Just refusevto certify and the county is not counted. The more complicated situations will need to be gerrymandered.

No. A handful of senators will object, but not enough.

Bannon
A jury found Bannon, 68, guilty of two misdemeanor counts for refusing to provide testimony or documents to the House of Representatives select committee as it scrutinizes the Jan. 6, 2021, rampage by Trump supporters who tried to upend the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Each count is punishable by 30 days to one year behind bars and a fine of $100 to $100,000. U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols set an Oct. 21 sentencing date.

That's a misdemeanor? We ought to be able to roll all his into a felony by now, surely.

Sadly, being stupid, a seditionist, and a Republican are not aggravating factors, much as they should be.

Republicans on a roll:
In 2022, a new record of four states — Iowa, Mississippi, Georgia, and Arizona — have made the leap from a progressive tax on personal income to a flat tax.
