I don't drink any hot drinks. Never saw the point. Drinks are supposed to cool you down, why drink something that does the opposite? It's like wearing ski pants on the beach.

In Hong Kong, where I grew up and where the temperature was in the upper 80sF most of the summer the locals would often drink hot water rather than tea. This was because it made them perspire and this would cool them down.

I suspect it has been replaced by gallons of Coke by now.

I don't like any hot drinks. Although, I can drink tea if I'm extremely cold (like 'in a tent on a snowy mountain' cold).

I've never been a regular coffee drinker, but I would sometimes have a cup on particularly cold days when I lived in Seattle. Southern CA is too damn warm for coffee though.

What I really like is the smell. A good pot of coffee has got to be one of the best smells in the world IMO.
