Rand Paul was attacked and badly beaten up by a neighbor.
There was an incident not too long ago where an anti-Trump protestor tried to gun down a bunch of Republican Senators, and ended up shooting and almost killing one. It was by luck that more did not get shot. James Hodgkinson, a “fervent supporter of progressive politics,” showed up to the field with a rifle, a handgun and a hit list of Republicans and got Steve Scalise - and - MSNBC host Joy Reid felt conflicted: The attempted assassination was a “delicate thing” because of Scalise’s conservative views like opposition to gay marriage. “Are we required in a moral sense to put that aside in the moment?” she wondered.
An abortion protestor the other day kicked a woman in the face, while claiming to be only trying to kick the phone out of her hand....
I think her points make some sense here - you have sitting Senators egging protestors on to "get in the face" of Republicans and not let them sleep or eat in peace. They're going into restaurants and harassing and haranging patrons to drive out Republicans from places of public accommodation. What would your view of it be if a Republican Senator yelled to a crowd to go out and find Democrats and make sure they couldn't sleep or eat peacefully?

Missou and Melissa Click attacks on student journalists.
Brett Weinstein, had gangs of bat-weilding protestors searching for him around campus, and was driven off campus of EVergreen University under threat.
