So, the same trend that has always existed. Younger generations are usually more liberal than older ones.

"They want to take away your hamburgers. This is what Stalin dreamt about but never achieved." —Sebastian Gorka

Another Democrat moves on. Megan Barry, mayor of Nashville, pleads guilty to felony theft of property over $10,000. This comes after she admitted to having an affair with the head of her security detail.

Cool! Women should not be left behind:...admitted to having an affair with the head of her security detail, Sgt. Rob Forrest, in 2016 and apologized.

You would do her, right?

The 10 000 is stupid. It’s not a sum worth stealing. Get someone to give you a gift of 130 000 through their lawyer.

Yeah, I probably would.

Looks like the "theft" was for expenses she charged the state that were actually paying for her affair.

Democrats are probably going about changing opinion the wrong way. They need a Democratic Breibart. Huffington post etc are notenough. The swing voters are only impressed by shock value. Twist the truth just enoug, Trump style, to make it newsworthy. Smart Republicans will dismiss it as hyperbole, but they are not the target. Working Joe is.

I suppose President Bogus will have to revise his lie* about how 'Republicans are 5-0 in recent Congressional races' to '5-1' now that they've lost a seat in Pennsylvania. He just held a campaign rally for the candidate that was defeated, but that was really more about him basking in the adulation of his supporters. I don't view this as a bellwether for the Democratic party retaking the House of Representatives, but it certainly can't be viewed as a validation of Trump's policies, given that in the presidential election he won the district by about 20 points. Nor will it be comforting to Republicans facing the mid-term elections later this year.

* Perhaps he believes that elections in California don't count, and that the Senate isn't really a house of Congress.

It went to hand counting the last 1000 votes. The man is as much an asshole as Trump, just not in such grand scale, Saccone.

But Republican groups spent millions on tax-cut TV ads in the Pennsylvania race, only to drop that message late in the race, the according to a POLITICO analysis of advertising data. The GOP switched to harder-edged issues, such as immigration and crime, in the closing days, that analysis said.

"Any Democrat who is worried that the tax plan would be a savoir for Republicans should wake up today knowing that it was an albatross instead," said Jesse Ferguson, a Democratic campaign strategist.

Courtney Alexander, a spokeswoman for the Ryan-aligned super PAC, said this race was an outlier and the tax cut would still be a persuasive pitch heading into the fall.

Why Democrats Should Worry About Conor Lamb's Victory
The consultants who run the party in Washington would really have to pull out all the stops to prevent The Resistance from lifting the Democrats back to power.

Don't worry, though – the Democrats will try to screw it up. It's a time-honored party tradition.

Lamb, for all his fresh-faced charm, ran and won as a Trump Democrat – a flashback to the "Republican Lite" candidacies the Democrats specialized in during the Clinton '90s and '00s. He was so reluctant to criticize the president that NBC reporter Kacie Hunt made it her mission on Tuesday to ask him about Trump and try to extract something.

The real message of Lamb's campaign basically boiled down to this: "Look at what a fine young normal white fellow I am!" But, hey: It worked – partly because Lamb does come across as a kind of professional Eagle Scout. Only a hopeless left-wing purist could argue that Lamb's approach was the wrong one for the 18th district in Pennsylvania. No gun-banning feminist with ardent backing from Our Revolution could have won this race.

Because, of course, getting gun-banning feminists with backing from "our revolution" into office is the ultimate goal.... isn't it?

Some 40% of blacks do not bother to vote. All them picture IDs and all. And many black young men just live with the girlfriend, never signing a lease. Because Jeff Sessions will put them in jail for pot anytime now.
