Ranchers with guns OK, protesters with cardboard signs dange

Post by Tero » Sun Feb 05, 2017 2:20 am

..rous and embarrassing to states where anti Trump events happen.

http://www.sfgate.com/nation/article/6- ... 908669.php
The six are accused of bringing guns to the Bundy ranch near Bunkerville, about 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas, to support Bundy family members against U.S. Bureau of Land Management agents enforcing federal court orders to herd Bundy cows off public rangeland in the scenic Gold Butte area.
Hundreds of supporters were in a dry riverbed when the standoff took place, and dozens of self-styled militia members from across the nation remained for months afterward in dusty and windy camps around the Bundy ranch.

Oh, yes, it really does sound like the "ranchers with guns" are being deemed "o.k." -- I mean, they are under federal indictment and going to trial, facing life in prison each. That, to me, sounds almost exactly like "o.k."

Which protesters with cardboard signs are dangerous? The article doesn't discuss any?

I should have known your article would have nothing to do with whatever point you were trying to make, which clearly makes zero sense. The only "protesters" who have been deemed something other than "o.k." are the ones turning over cop cars, macing people, assaulting people, throwing fireworks into crowds and at buildings and smashing windows. The cardboard signs are rather insignificant.

Heroes to whom?

Some jailed people are heroes, when their team thinks they have been unjustly handled - Free Mumia! Is he a hero? to some yes...

And, "This is the story of Hurricane -- the man the authorities came to blame - for something he had nevah done!" Is Hurricane a hero? To some, yes.

If the suggestion is that he is generally considered a hero, I'll point out that he tucks himself in in a jail cell, and many of the folks who tried to back him up are facing lengthy jail sentences. Sounds like they're getting treated real nice.

Has he suggested he intends to pardon them, or that he considers them either brave or patriots?
