Kentucky woman files suit after state denies license to marry animal

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky woman has filed a lawsuit because she was denied a license to marry an animal.

Elizabeth Ording, 27, is suing Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis, Gov. Matt Bevin and Attorney General Andy Beshear. The 56-page lawsuit says Ording's marriage to an animal wouldn't be that different than same-sex marriage.

Ording says the county attorney told her she could have a wedding, but the state wouldn't recognize the marriage.

A Tennessee man filed a similar lawsuit against Davis, Bevin and Beshear after he was refused a license to marry a computer.

For some reason, animals and comuters not being fully sentient beings and unable to fully consent to marriage, I don't see those suits going very far... courts will deny them and be confirmed on appeal, if appeal there is, and that will be all.... Supreme Courts won't even give certiorari.

Is she wanting to marry a racist? She should stick with a less offensive animal like a pig dog.

As long it was a vertebrate, I have no objections.

I would draw the line at a giant squid. I know it's prejudiced, but I find it hard to let go of spinal cord thinking...

She needs to visit Canada. Anything goes there...so long as it isn't penetrative and risking a hybrid pregnancy. :read:

Sex acts with animals are legal in Canada, so long as there is no penetration involved, according to a surprise ruling issued by the Supreme Court.

Squid huh. Japanese have no such aversion. I think the painting is called fisherman's wife?
