'You’ve f***ed everything up' Cameron blasted by voters as Brexit takes 10-point lead

DAVID Cameron was told he had “f***ed every f***ing thing up in this country” as he was confronted by angry young voters in a live European Union debate.

The Prime Minister was blasted by angry audience member Yasmin Morrissey who said she hated the Tories and branded him “Dodgy Dave”.

The politics student from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, said: “I’m voting Remain but nothing to do with you guys.

“I hate the Tories. I have just got to say you have f***** every f****** thing up in this country.

(continued, what happens when the young do politics? my wife is from Cleethorpes...exactly as approachable.) :nono:

I shudder to think what America would be if the President was selected by the House of Representatives from among their own...

You think electing senators is so much better?

Electing the executive branch separately from the legislature is an excellent idea. The judiciary should also be primarily elected. Then all three branches of government would be separately accountable to the people. Fuck-ups could then be dealt with, without having to re elect all the bloody representatives.

electing the judiciary has proved to elect judges who'll try to look good rather than rendering actual justice and is definitely NOT a good method.

Aye, like electing prosecutors.

Justice should be seen to be done so looking good ain't such a bad notion. Anyway, the judges needn't be elected directly. A five member appointments board elected nationally by single transferable vote could do the appointing for 4 years at a time. At the moment US top judges are appointed by the President, in the UK is a convoluted middle class appointments fest.

Separation is key.

The job of the judiciary is to punish the culprits, not to find a culprit at any price, especially not at the price of punishing the innocent. It's an ingrate and difficult work, one that needs to be done without such needless pressures as the demands of the public <ho are apt to demand immediate results whereas the quest for truth, on which the fate of the accused rests, is a much slower and iffy business. No sir, when you want justice, as every good man should, an elected judiciary is spelling the word disaster. and even assuming an appointment board (and reasonable standards of competency for the people that board is allowed to appoint), that's not a solution, that's just transferring the answerability while adding and unneeded level of politics to the whole shebang.

First change the legal system. Judges should never be elected. It has about as much point as electing the dog catcher; a waste of time and money.

Nothing wrong with that, especially if the candidate was selected before the House was elected.
People would think a lot harder about which representative to vote for, if it worked that way.
And you wouldn't get the logjam of different parties running the House and the White House.
Things could actually get done.

Whether good or bad, I think it's better if a government can actually govern.

It would stop the presidential election being a gigantic mega-expensive reality tv show. I don't think you could do much worse than you do now.

The presidential elections in America are totally undemocratic as are senate elections in fact the whole system in America is a mess. They should wipe the slate clean and start all over again.

If they did that, America could be as great as Holland! :cheer:
