As if Germans cared about what the Ottoman empire did over a hundred years ago.

Eleven members, about 2% of the federal parliament, are of Turkish extraction. That means a huge number of non-Turks among the German electorate have seen fit to make them their representatives. Hardly an omen of future gassing of all Turks.
