I see the polls have swung against a yes in the last few months. I imagine the billionaire media have been doing the usual and giving a disproportional amount of time and weight to the voices of their shills in parliament.

And from what I can tell it's only to constitute an advisory body. Normal political processes will still operate for decision-making at every level unchanged. I guess it's OK for coal and mining to advise the govt of Oz, but, you know, black fellas telling us what they think, well...

I doubt it, Sean. It was a sustained campaign to make people worried about the consequences - some of the No campaigners were themselves indigenous. The Yes campaign probably played into their hands by being unclear about how the Voice would work in practice...
