Same holiday here. Over the last years, a tradition has evolved in Germany that on this day men roam the public in small groups getting drunk publicly in broad daylight.

There is a pop concert on somewhere. It is normally a long weekend as most companies are closed tomorrow as well. The garden centres are busy at this time of year.
The Hells Angles were yesterday banned by the courts as an illegal organisation. This is usually their parade weekend. All the other idiots on motor bikes take to the roads this weekend as well. The bloody noise and pollution.

Not just older people Jim. We are all getting fed up of motorbikes. The police keep rounding them up for noise pollution but more idiots (usually frustrated 40+ men) still take to the roads. Luckily they are the most vulnerable on the motorways which does act as a deterrent but in towns they just love to annoy.

Yeah, it's a double edged sword. On one hand the noise and pollution is annoying, but on the other hand the supply of organs available for transport goes up.

In a victory for queer people in Botswana, the Gaborone high court on Tuesday ruled sections of Botswana’s Penal Code which criminalises same-sex sexual conduct unconstitutional.

Certain sections of the penal code impose a maximum sentence of seven years imprisonment for consensual same-sex relations.

The court, however, ruled these provisions “discriminatory because they take away the only means of sexual expression of the applicant”.

That sounds like great news. I'm not sure about the wording.
