Croydon cat killings: Police probe 'gruesome' deaths
Animal welfare workers believe the same person may be responsible for a string of "gruesome" cat killings.
Six cats which went missing in the Croydon and Norwood areas in south London were later found dismembered.
It was initially thought the animals had been killed by foxes.
But animal rescue workers have now urged owners to keep their pets indoors "where possible", saying it had become clear that "something sinister" was going on.

Almost certainly a foreigner. The English use poison when there's some moggy killing to do.Śiva wrote:I suppose he's working his way up to machetes and metro stations.

They say poison is a woman's weapon. Perhaps radical feminism is on the rise?

I'm normally all for reforming bad people but when it comes to cats it must be a public death penalty for the culprit along with his children , family and anyone who has ever known him or her.
When only criminals carry guns the police know exactly who to shoot!
Re: London Serial Cat Ripper
Knew a guy in high school who worked at a vet's office. He'd been clawed and bitten so many times by cats that he hated them with a surreal passion. He had a .410 Ithaca Car & Burglar short shotgun/pistol (which was totally illegal for him to have since he didn't register it as a short shotgun on the NFA registry) and he spent his weekends driving around town, up and down the alleys shooting every cat he could find. He bragged of killing hundreds of them, though I'm sure that's a bit of a stretch.
Cops never caught him that I know of because back then everybody rightfully thought that stray cats were a nuisance that needed to be culled.
They still are, and more than ever, what with the kitty-fiddllers who think that cats have a constitutional right to life and propagation, not to mention songbird eating.
I say we take off and nuke them from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

You forgot torture. The perpetrators' deaths must must involve lots of torture. Import experts in the practice of Lingchi for that. Then bury the corpses. Dig them up again a year later and torture them some more, because!
