France looks silly again

Post by Svartalf » Mon Aug 25, 2014 7:39 am

After less than 6 months, the government is resigning, because some ministers were complaining that the current line is not working... I'm not yet in the know whether the undisciplined secretaries will just get sacked and replaced (likely) or if we get a complete new prime minister and a fresh (more or less) team...

Seriously, you'd think we were back in the 1871-1962 period when governments were voted out by the parliament faster than you could make them.

We can't... the Spanish branch vowed that they had no more right to the French throne, and the orleans branch lost all legitimity when their ancestor voted to kill Louis XVI...

Better a republic than kings without legitimity.

It's been announced, valls will go on pushing his ineffectual line, he'll just get to put more of his toadies in the cabinet, and it's official that being in suppresses your free speech...

You disappoint me, Jim.

Were the "socialists" in government as well, or just el presidente?

The gummint is to the right wing of the party, not far from the actual right... the guys that are being sacked are guilty of being actual leftists, and saying so.
