The ex-girlfriend of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un who was thought to have been executed by firing squad last year has appeared back on state television smiling and talking.

Yeah, I saw that. The paper that first reported it, the Chosun Ilbo, is a mouthpiece of the conservative ruling party. I've come to be of the opinion that their "news" is often no more reliable than that of the DPRK.

He might have actually had a look-alike killed, as a warning to his GF that she better improve her BJs pronto...

Hyon Song-wyol seems to have come back from the dead after being interviewed during a state broadcast.
After?

Death is not a valid excuse when asked for an interview by the state...

Of course not. As a card carrying member of the Fifth International Cadre of Stalinist-Maoist I fully agree with that decree lest I be condemned to death in a show trial. Just the same I am flummoxed by this: How could Hyon Song-wyol give an interview
before she came back from the dead?

What I meant was, SK could have made up the whole thing fromt he get-go. They are only slightly less shy to publish propaganda than the North, in my experience.

But that's natural selection at work. When you rule everything, you select the prettiest women for breeding. Naturally.

Something with a rare bit of truthiness about it has come out of NK, though:
