Ukraine arrest warrant for ex-leader Yanukovych

Ukraine has issued a warrant for the arrest of ousted President Viktor Yanukovych, the interim interior minister has announced.

Arsen Avakov said in a Facebook post a criminal case had been opened against Mr Yanukovych and other officials over "mass murder of peaceful citizens".

MPs voted to remove Mr Yanukovych on Saturday after months of protest sparked by his rejection of an EU deal.

A crackdown on the protests last week left dozens dead.

You need new ideas but everyone with a IQ above 180 is on strike on account of the biosphere collapsing. Only one viable planet for complex adaptive life and it's being turned into a garbage heap by the idiot majority. Waiting for the human shipwreck that'll stop the greater shipwreck. No great secret the smart folks are actively bailing more water into the sinking ship of the modern world, more of a secret they've plenty of ideas for their own lifeboat.

I don't see the Ukraine ending well. Overthrowing the President and then issuing an arrest warrant is like asking Russia to invade. And that's just the tip of the iceberg because much of the opposition is very split on what they want, except for freedom from Russia. The statues of Lenin are coming down in the Ukraine, but it's not just because Lenin was Russian, it was also because he was Jewish.

They said on the BBC today that nobody would like to see the country split, Russia and the EU would rather that it's borders remain intact.

Yugoslavia didn't break up nicely. Seems the Serbs weren't willing to give up their ancestral lands to immigrant Bosnian Muslims that they have fought for hundreds of years. Ukraine will not give up their territory to immigrant Russians under the old USSR policy either.
