Missed it, damnit. I love playing with sushi. At the end of the game I will eat it too. Fun.

From friend in Helsinki:
To all(5-0) my American friends(5-0)who think(5-0) me as a Finn(5-0) would say something(5-0) petty(5-0) about our victory (5-0)in the bronze medal game(5-0).Of course not (5-0)! Why would I (5-0) bring up (5-0), such a painful (5-0) experience (5-0) and rub it(5-0) in ur face(5-0).

While you guys were watching (or not watching) figure skating, we were doing this Race to the Sky

Taking the dog for a walk doesn't quite compare to what I was watching, but each to his own.Gallstones wrote:While you guys were watching (or not watching) figure skating, we were doing this Race to the Sky

Canada won gold in women's and men's curling and hockey. So I'm good.
I watched way too many hours of this Olympics.

I think Russia did well. None of the terrorist attacks that the media were banging on about.
None of the lesbian gay crap that they went on about.
And the venue was pretty special.
They've put Sochi on the tourist map, and created facilities that will be still going in fifty years time. Fifty billion sounds a lot, but the resort is now all there, and they will get it back, and then some.

I hear they're selling and shipping the entire short track skating rink to the UK.
I liked the closing ceremony. The circus, ballet and all that.
