Osama Bin Laden death video scam spreads virally on Facebook

A link which claims to point to a video of the death of Osama Bin Laden has been spread virally across Facebook today, just hours after the death of the Al Qaeda leader.

The messages, posed as updates on Facebook users' walls, claim to point to banned video footage of Osama Bin Laden's death:

So, no viral danger, just an attempt to make some money off the companies that pay for survey information. Well, my guess is that the survey companies will catch on to this scam and deny compensation to the scammers, and if they don't, who cares? It doesn't cost us anything, although we don't get anything, and if the companies don't police their survey systems properly and pay for bogus data, that's their problem.

This fits under the definitions of "there's a sucker born every minute", "you get what you pay for," and pure, undiluted entrepreneurism. I say if the scammers make some money this way, they deserve it.
