UN Security Council: Time to Reform!

It is becoming increasingly and embarassingly evident that France's permanent seat on
the UN Security Council is an historical anachronism whose "Use by" date has passed.
Obviously, France should cede it's seat to a greater and more relevant power. But who
has the best claim? India, perhaps? Brazil? South Africa? Indonesia?

What would make the UN Security Council more credible, effective and relevant to the
21st century?

I agree the UNSC is a relic from a bygone age, and badly needs replacing - no point in mere cosmetic reform.

Kick the US off the Security Council!

The US is the world's largest terrorist organization, and is the greatest threat to world peace today. It has no place on th Security Council or the Human Rights Commision.

I suggest that we replace the US with Iran. And, France can be replaced with North Korea.

It's time we had some balance on the Security Council. It was nice to see Libya on the UN Human Rights Commission there, and Qaddafi's input on Human Rights will be sorely missed when he is finally ousted. I think they should allow his son to take over, since he's been trained all these years by the master.

I think we should give the Security Council over to places like Wales, the Basque Republic, Free Quebec Movement, the Hutu Supreme Council, etc. Places that don't have an axe to grind.
