No. Christian countries still practice colonialism but color it as "democracy".

More to the point, which countries would still count as probably having a clear majority of christians? Even tighter if you meant practicing, church-going christians rather than just what they would write on a form...

The US, I suppose, and some of the heavily catholic countries of Europe & South America...

A little quote on what Christ said about what kind of nation he prefers.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew%2025:31-25:46&version=KJV wrote:Matthew 25:31-46 (King James Version)

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Define "civilised"? :ask:

The US may still be a Christian majority country, but I always fall back on pointing out that there is great cultural diversity in the US. The "flyover states" got their name for a reason. As I've mentioned before: having been raised in New England, I probably have more in common with the typical Brit than the typical Texan - except for my love of American football.

I think it is worth pointing out here that many of those Mujahideen fighters that went to Afghanistan to fight the Soviets came from prisons in the rest of the majority Islam nations.

So the uncivilised in the US are the exception.

Are the evil muslims in predominantly muslim countries the exception too, or are they the proof of how evil the whole country is?

edited to replace "religion" with country

Generally speaking, I'd say evil is the exception, not the rule. But I've been accused of being an optimist before.

yes, would need a definition. For sure any christian country that makes a point to bomb the shit out of countries, occupy foreign lands, torture people, imprison people for minor offenses (non violent crimes/drug offenses in particular), etc can't really be considered civilized. To make the point though, that wouldn't mean all the individuals in the given country are "uncivilized", just the countries/religions policies as a whole.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Only an isolated few countries could be counted as not being majority religious.

Every country in South and Central American is majority Christian. Every country in Africa is majority Christian or majority Muslim. Every country in Asia is majority Christian, or Hindu, or Buddhist or Muslim. Almost every country in Europe is majority Christian. I say "almost" instead of "every" because there might be a country where more than 50% of the country does not adhere to a denomination, but I doubt.
