Bacon. Bacon on everything. Bacon salt. Bacon shoes. Bacon bras. The Bacon Explosion.
Deep down, you knew this day was coming:
According to the Des Moines Register, there is a shortage of pork bellies nationwide.
more horror...

That's not bacon. That's pork loin, it comes from the back of a pig, not the belly.

When it's cured, it's certainly the main type of bacon in Oz...
We call the other "streaky bacon"
Love 'em both...

We call that Canadian Bacon in the US, but the kind made of pork bellies (your 'streaky') is the main type of bacon here.

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

So don't the pigs got bellies no more? Is that why there's a shortage? Can't someone just give them lots of beer?
