The married father of two, who was also overheard describing her as “very attractive” with “that Filipino look, the kind you’d see in a Gauguin painting”,
That sounds like a temperate, considered and thoughtful take on the beauty of the girl. It's not as if he called her a fuckable wee minx (which even then shouldn't have been grounds for a resignation).
...SNP backbencher Sandra White...called the comments “sexist and sleazy”...
She said: “Frank McAveety’s comments were utterly inappropriate and he has done the right thing by resigning...
Stupid cunt.

Pathetic.. you can look at people of any age and see if they have beauty or attractiveness.. fresh faced girls and boys or any age can be beautiful/attractive - we all had crushes when we were kids.... it doesn't mean you see them as sexual. Flowers are beautiful, tigers are attractive

Actually she ran blindly through the ugly forest smacking into every tree at full butt.
In fact, she never made it out of the forest.

I probably don't know all the story, but why didn't he fight this? Sounds like he caved in rather easily to pressure. Maybe there's more to the story, not necessarily about this young girl, but others?

Here's, apparently, the full of what he said.
He was heard to say: "There's a very attractive girl in the second row, dark... and dusky. We'll maybe put a wee word out for her."
Mr McAveety went on: "She's very attractive looking, nice, very nice, very slim," before adding: "The heat's getting to me."
The MSP also said: "She looks kinda... she's got that Filipino look.
"You know... the kind you'd see in a Gauguin painting. There's a wee bit of culture."

The first sentence is questionable in my opinion... unless I need a translation.
"There's a very attractive girl in the second row, dark... and dusky. We'll maybe put a wee word out for her." which sounds like he's suggesting that he or his retinue should try to make contact with her?
