So it would appear that the innocence of those slaughtered by British Paras has been finally vindicated. It seems a little too late though, but I've became a little enveloped in all of it. It gives credence to the frustration people had with Britan. The troops were representative of both protestants and British government in Ireland so you can understand the angst. Do any of you Northern Irelanders remember your reaction to the massacre at the time?

You will never find consensus on anything to do with Northern Ireland, but in theory the troops were there to 'keep the peace'. These mad fuckers (the Paras) were totally ill suited for the purpose and they behaved in a way that the vast majority of troops did not.

I for one am glad though that the truth is out at last. Let's hope they move on now and don't do what they do so well - dig up battles which were fought hundreds of years ago and squabble over it all again.

The Paras are not trained to be policemen ...every time they have served in Ireland the body count has gone up ...Fuck they have killed almost as many people as a bomb in chip shop or at a memorial on remembrance Sunday ...not given quite as many teenagers six packs as the other side though.


Fuck it's no wonder you can't get a Pizza delivered !
