You Americans complaining about petrol prices. You should try driving in the real world, I pay about £1.10 per litre at the moment, per litre!. There are four litres in a US gallon, so I pay about £4.40 or US$6.70 per gallon.

In 1975 I drove down to San Antonio Texas to retrieve my brother and his clan and help them move back to Indiana. I was pleased to get gas @ $0.25/gallon in Oklahoma until I got into Texas where a gas war was on, $0.17/gallon. I felt cheated.
