In my little town a group of petty criminals called 'The Cameron Brothers' were recently nicked and sent down to prison with three or four year sentences. Apparently these chaps were well loved by their friends, and so naturally groups of support have risen on Facebook. Some are even demanding their release! It's said that of one the brothers only committed one criminal offence and yet he's been given the same draconian prison sentence as his other two brothers! Oh the injustice!!!
These groups have quite the numbers with some reaching 300 memberships.

Do you know what these three boys did?

Three brothers involved in a gang which carried out a six-week campaign of street muggings in Sleaford have been jailed at Lincoln Crown Court.

Ashley Cameron, together with his brothers Tony and Barry, were part of the gang from Grantham which targeted teenagers and young men.

Ashley, Tony and Barry Cameron, aged 19, 22 and 20 respectively, all from Christchurch Road, Grantham, each admitted robbery and attempted robbery charges.

Ashley and Tony were jailed for four years while Barry was jailed for three-and-a-half.

Stuart Lody , prosecuting, said the first attack was on two 15-year-old schoolboys walking home along Boston Road in Sleaford after attending a football match.

The following month a 26-year-old cyclist was attacked with a baseball bat.

A week later three more victims were attacked.

Michael Cranmer-Brown, for Tony Cameron, said he had not been involved in any actual violence.

Patricia Leonard , for Barry Cameron, said he made frank admissions to police following his arrest.

They mugged children and led vicious assaults on innocent people. That is fucked up.

I can't even begin to register my disgust with these sympathisers. What is wrong with them? These 'Cameron Brothers' are being treated with more empathy than the CHILDREN they mugged. Read some of the comments on their walls. I'm absolutely shocked beyond belief. So far as I'm concerned, they can stay in their cells and stagnate until they're old and senile and incapable of violence. My town has descended into desolation in recent years for no other reason than people like these guys.

I did it under a pseudonym. A lot of the decent and honest people are terrified of them. A lady who was a neighbour to these blokes wrote on our local newspaper's Facebook page that she was pleased with the sentencing. Her ightmare was now over and her children could play without fear on the street. I admired her courage, but she was given a tirade of abuse from the lads' 'Family'. It's really sad.

What's so depressing is the fact that it's hundreds of fuckers signing up to show support for these scumbags.

Just to give a little bit of insight in to what it's like to be a victim of such crime ("only" a robbery as one bastard put it):

In early 2003 as my dad was going to the bank to lodge the takings from our then wine shop three bastards mugged him. One came up behind him and pistol whipped him so badly (while another held him) that he needed ten staples in his head, and as he lay semi-conscious the third cunt in the getaway car pulled on to the footpath at speed and only stopped inches from my dad's head, which was even more traumatic for him. They stole £5000 but they were caught half an hour later by a very good and suspicious police squad.

My dad justed wanted out of the business from that moment, all of the joy, fun and excitement was removed for him, so we sold it and he retired.

Facebook groups like the sort Lozzer has just linked to are utterly disgusting and a further kick in the teeth for the poor victims of these hideous criminals.

Indeed, and what's even more frustrating is that no one can make these people empathize with their victims. It's bloody annoying and I pity each and every one of them. What maddens me most is the mother's hand in all of it. No one can consult her and ask her to consider the effect of her son's actions because it risks offending her, and she wont have it. She doesn't want anyone giving her a "tougher time" because she and her family are "suffering". Because of this, she's unquestionable and any challengers risk serious consequences from sons' cronies. It's disgusting. They even threatened to report my local newspaper because they covered the story of boys. I wish I was just kidding.

And even now after it's been established that this mother incapable of raising any child properly-- her youngest children remain in her care.



I'm sorry about your father, but it's good that swift police action was taken. I cannot begin to even express how much I despise thieves.

And it doesn't matter whether this is all on Facebook or the street, these people are representative of significant amount of working class people in my town and I'm ashamed of it.

One of their youngest (who was in my class at school) goes regularly on holiday with his friends on holiday for massive piss-ups. He's not from a wealthy background and he definitely doesn't graft for a living. Either luxurious elopements are fantastically cheap these days or we've got ourself another criminal. Hmmm.
