Quite possibly, but if 2 different types of test say the same thing (either both positive, or both negative) it would increase one's confidence level...

Well I did a RAT test and got a negative. So it's a bizarre coincidence that I've got symptoms straight after my daughter tested positive.

Boris has scraped all Covid measure in England, including free tests, community infection prevalence monitoring, statutory sick pay from day 1 rather than day 7, and all legal requirements wear masks in enclosed public spaces like transport and shops and to self isolate if positive. But the Queen (God bless her) is an example to us all, apparently.

Rapid antigen tests are very unreliable when the swabbing is performed by swabbing the nose walls or the mouth only. You will only get a positive result when you have a very high viral load (improbable when vaccinated). You have to swab the throat to get a reliable result.
