Hope it goes well, rainbow. My daughter just got a pcr test this morning. She's got all the symptoms of Omicron. But they are the same symptoms as a regular cold too.

I'm in the same spot as your daughter, with mild symptoms for the last two days. If they persist or get worse, I'll get a test.

Not too bad at all, but a good idea to get the PCR, just so you know you're not infecting others.

I'm glad I'm leaving today to go back home. Although, i've been here enough to have caught it.

Yeah, my daughter had it. There's no way to avoid it at school. Thankfully none of us really felt sick.* The vaccine was worse.

*assuming we got it, we didn't isolate her or anything, so it's hard to imagine nobody else did.

Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace says.

The palace said on Sunday that she has been experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms and that the 95-year-old monarch expected to continue light duties at Windsor over the next week.

So, light duties only...

I tested negative. I don't believe it as I feel a bit crap. What's the chances I got a cold the day after my daughter tested positive?

Do another one to be sure...

They are meant to be pretty conclusive, but if you did a RAT test soon, and it was also negative, then you could be pretty sure you haven't got it...

My daughter did a rat test first and got a negative, then did the pcr and got a positive. RAT's seem to have a fair chance of a false negative.
